The Dyer Behind A Wanderer & Her Wool

Hello there! My name is Michelina, and I am the dyer behind A Wanderer & Her Wool.

    

It was late 2020 when I decided that I wanted to pursue yarn dyeing. For as long as I can remember, I truly believed that I was not good at anything, or that there was nothing special about me. I had no hobby or creative talent, and always compared myself to the people around me who did. It was not until I started knitting in 2019 that I believed that I was good at something. When I realized that some of the people I followed on Instagram were yarn dyers, I was amazed. I thought to myself, how incredible would it be if I started dyeing yarn and shared it with the world? It did not take long for this idea to become a dream of mine.

I have a dream, this is it, and I hope I inspire you to follow yours.

    

       

A Wanderer & Her Wool was inspired from my love for nature, and the magic and mystery it holds. I find peace in traveling and exploring the world around me, which is why I put so much thought into everything I do. From brainstorming a new colourway, to planning the dyeing process, to dyeing the yarn, to preparing shop updates, to packaging your orders, I do it all with so much love.
